.. and this one time I was hanging around at my house just shooting the crap with my girlfriend. So the phone rings and it's this female friend from this place that I'd used to work and so I invite her over to maybe watch a movie or something... which of course was insensitive cuz my girlfriend was new to the position and was totally pissed off about being asked to sit around for 3 hours with another girl that she didn't know one little bit. Couldn't blame her for being a little upset but it seemed like she overreacted... oh right... when she asked me 'what she and this girl could possibly have in common?' I replied 'Well... she's totally hot and you're really pretty so...' I would have continued talking after the stunned pause but everyone knows that you don't speak contrition to someone's ass as it walks out the door.
